Yay!🎉
@Graingy yeah
Well, that is usually how jet engines work.
@Graingy i mean, the physical origin of thrust is on the nozzle. I said emanates because I couldn't come up with a better word then.
I'm sorry? What do you mean "emanates"?
By the way, the tutorial is ready. Going to upload it now.
@Graingy the engine produces thrust, but it emanates from the nozzle. And the number of nozzles affects fuel consumption (i think).
Ah, so the stretching is natural. Got it.
Is this super fuel hungry, then? Or does the VTOL engine actually produce the engine's thrust?
@Graingy ohh that. Change the
inputMultiplier
to higher than 1.@overlord5453 I meant how the pulsing works.
@SPsidearm ohh. Ahh... Sure. You can use them.
@overlord5453
Those are DECMs.
@Graingy i don't know how to explain it. I think I will make a video about it. I will let you know once it's out.
Simply put, you make one piece of the nozzle flap and use the mirror function to make it a circle.
@SPsidearm didn't you already 🤔. I thought we talked about this before.
And the pattern?
@overlord5453
Also can i borrow your JATOL (minus the TO, JAL)
@SPsidearm this one's a proof of concept. Dagger had a different nozzle. it was later changed with a new one that follows this design.
@Graingy VTOL nozzles arranged in a circular shape. It's a little bit of pain to work with. Because for whatever reason, they don't mirror properly.
Coollllllll
I assume it's the dagger's?
yo how tf
