Introduction: The FA-17A "Eclipse" is a multirole fighter with great payload carrying capacity and manouverability. It features 2 machineguns, 2 LRAAMs, 2 ATGMs, 2 Rocket pods, 2 Bombs and 32x countermeasures.
Development: Sugested in 2020 as a replacement to the F16C Fighting Falcon. The FA-17A's first prototype was unveiled in 2023 and testing began in early 2024. It was accepeted into the USAF in 2025.
Controls: Standard plane controls.
VTOL for flaps.
AG1 to launch LRAAMs.
AG2 to launch ATGMs.
AG3 to drop rocket pods after usage.
AG4 to drop bombs.
