About the replica:
Leopard 1A5 is a main battle tank developed by the Western Germany, based on Leopard 1A1A1. The main improvement is the gunner’s combat system, equipped with the gun sight from the well-known Leopard 2A4. Different from Leopard 1A1A1/120mm Rh120 (Check it in my posts here, www.), Leopard 1A5’s main gun remained the same, the 105mm L7A3 gun. In the SVO, Leopard 1A5 was donated by the German government. Those tanks are expected to be high-mobility tank destroyers. Unfortunately, L7A3 can hardly pierce the front armour of any of the Russian MBTs, and its ability of protection is not meeting the modern standard. The only benefit is its mass, which is even lower than some of the Russian ones, making its mobility in mud and other terrible conditions better.
About the post:
This Ukrainian Leopard 1A5 is equipped with modernized gun sight and perfectly-working gun stabilizers. The tank is armed with two 7.92mm MG3A1 machine guns and a L7A3 main gun, which has anti-recoil mechanism and 2 kinds of ammo. The APFSDS DM33 has high muzzle velocity and extraordinary impact damage, and the HEATFS DM12 is explosive and efficient when facing soft targets. Also, the commander is in service. If you want him out, just press AG3 to open the top hatch for him. He will take control of the MG3A1 on the top.

How to operate:
AG1: Lights
AG2: Rearview mirrors
AG3: Call the commander and activate top MG3A1
AG4: Lock the turret
AG8: Engine On/Off
[V]: Smoke grenades
[Alt]: Firing main gun
[Space]: Firing machine guns
[Mouse Scroll]: Zoom in/out when using the gunner’s sight.

@TheTankMuseum2005 I do believe the Germans manufactured Israeli-designed M111, M413, and M426 Hetz ammo as DM23, DM33, and DM63 respectively, M111 able to pierce T-72s used by Syria in both combat accounts and in Soviet testing with a captured Magach that was carrying the ammunition.

It certainly isn't going to defeat newer T-72, T-80, and T-90 from the front, but older T-72 and T-80 variants as well as captured T-64 and reactivated T-62 and T-55 (some which aren't even modernized) are fair game.

@TheTankMuseum2005 Yeah. Mobile (old) high-velocity guns, basically.

@Graingy They will hardly make any changes in rapid armoured combats, but very useful while supporting infantry units or dealing with the T-62M-1s and T-55AM-1s, which are also aged tanks. I'm not sure if those donated L1A5s have advanced thermal sights and latest types of ammo or not. If yes, I believe they threaten the T-72s and T-80s.

    Damn that looks good.
I do wonder how Ukraine would use these vehicles considering their age?
