Anbessa-1 MBT
Annnnd yeah, big turret. I built the tank and the turret separately and when mating them noticed some scaling issue. I think it came out quite well in the end. Its Soviet-inspired, like a lot of Winolian arms, but with a notable western influence especially when considering its turret.
Although historically significant and an incredible success, the T-72 has long since found itself outmatched by many of the modern systems fielded by other nations. Combined with the age of the Winolian T-72 fleet it was only a matter of time before this system needed replacing. As part of Zewa Aman’s report to his seniors, he highlighted the need for a homegrown tank built upon their experiences with (and intense knowledge of) the T-72. Enter Bishoftu Arms with their ambitious project MCCS. A "futuristic" MBT compromising an all-aspect design for a modular system that could work in all Foreseeable environments and accomplish any mission required by a tank with only minor modifications. The project would, however, take several years to complete. Faced with the difficult task, the MoD and the royal arms commision chose to stretch the service lives of their upgraded T-72’s and left Bishoftu to commence work on the project with government funding.
After a number of years highlighted as the design phase, the first batch was delivered for field testing and evaluation. Several problems were highlighted and its design initially didn’t float because of a large movement to mount a 152mm gun on it--a demand soon ignored in favour of the more versatile 125mm smoothbore. The profile was considered too tall to be worthwhile and its powertrain broke under certain strenuous conditions. Many components wore too quickly and considering how harsh Winolian weather could be, this would be a massive issue. So the engineers got to work and started fixing the issues. Test to fail, fix failure, test to fail again. The government was running out of patience and it took the Royal arms commision to keep the project from dying. At its end, however, the government got exactly what it wanted. An all-aspect, potentially low cost, MBT with a convertible hull for other purposes.
Although its armour values are highly classified and considered very experimental (as Winolia develops better non-uranium composites) it uses an extremely modified version of Kontakt-5 to provided several hundred millimetres of additional protection of potentially weaker or more crucial areas. It mounts a 125mm gun capable of firing most 125 compatible rounds and ATGM’s from the barrel. A variety of sensors feed into the fighting compartment where the commander can see and assess the entire battlefield situation and orders can be more easily relayed. It comes equipped with a passive protection system made to disrupt laser and radar guided systems and an automatic gun turret designed to shoot down ATGM’s. It has a coaxially mounted 50 cal machine gun and a secondary 12.7mm pintle-mounted machine gun.

Finally, a Tank. I was hoping I’d get to it sooner but I’m glad I waited till I was better. So a few things to note:
Yah, I’m too lazy to fix the camera.
Gently traverse and elevate the guns. Reduce their speed if you feel it’s necessary.
I resized the turret to the best of my ability. It hopefully looks alright.
You have, at your disposal:

Kool!
Halo reference @Dastin
@SuperSix ? What does that mean?
Killtrocity
@KerlonceauxIndustries The more I look at it the more I like it. Sure it's got a bigger profile but increased gun depression makes up for that a bit.
@ThePrototype Thanks. Glad you like it.
This is beautiful, nicely done.
@KerlonceauxIndustries Should we ever meet on the field of battle may the best tank win. And thanks.
