Cartographer is a high-altitude, long-range jet primarily designed to take aerial photographs for use in map-making. It comes equipped with a camera turret on the belly loaded with 4 cameras with different configurations. The overall design is loosely based on the U-2 airframe, and it sports a few similar characteristics as a result. Notably a forgiving glide slope, and decent high-altitude performance. The engine appears to be very overpowered, propelling the craft beyond 1000 mph at higher altitudes, so fly it on lower throttles to prevent the wings from bending too much. 50% is favorable at all altitudes, 10-25% is the cruise range. The wings have VTOL operated flaps which give the plane a stall speed of around 90 mph. It also comes armed with a parachute for rapid decelerations. Deploy that with AG2. AG1 unlocks the camera turret, controlled with VTOL and trim. This interferes with the surfaces however, so set the turret to your desired position before takeoff.
