C119 Flying Boxcar

853 Sebo1789  5.6 years ago

C119B Flying Boxcar. A recreation of the twin boom cargo plane and gunship designed in the late 1940s by Fairchild. The wingspan is accurate but my version is slightly longer. The props are also too small but not sure how to get them beyond the max 150 inch. Requires a touch of up elevator to fly level. The main gear are retracted via the vtol slider and lights are on 1. Nose gear is on standard retract button.

@Sebo1789 Side note as well, when using XML make sure you change any part that goes inside another part to no collision. That way your wings/gear will close flush and not bend everything out of whack. Still, this is a great first upload. Keep up the good work!!

@Sgtk Thank you! I may consider doing an XML upgrade then. Would be great to get the props to scale and gear all sorted!

I love the boxcar!! Great job. XML is how to adjust the props to a bigger size. Also how to get custom gear to work with 'G'.
