Vanguard Industries SM-02 [GROUND ATTACK]
Whilst the Rocket-Daedalus and SM-03 were a common sight over Crete's fortesses and Rome's capital, most of the battlefield was still almost totally free of Jets and rockets. New Sundaland didn't have the resources to supply the new engines in large numbers, and rome's defence-aircraft were reserved for an expected attack on their capital, so the newest fighters in places like Persia were all propeller-planes. Mayan skies were also clear of jets as the Mayans hadn't invented any planes yet and so weren't concidered a threat worthy of the resource which was vital in the Roman theatre. this Ground attack aircraft was a common sight in the Gulf of Mexico and in the African Theatre. for more on the story behind this plane please check out my blog post and other Vanguard aircraft :)

@ESIOTROT121 If you're curious as to my original inspiration for the SM-02, check out the Bristol 142, and my JXP-14 Tiger :) the tiger was basically a small 142 with turbo-props, and the SM-02 was my attempt to tie that into my little story :)
@ESIOTROT121 Awesome :D Cheers, have a great day ^_^
@Mostly actually, my original design was a slim Bristol Blenheim with a low-wing and turboprops, but then for this "ancient" version it's just normal engines and radiator in the spinner. now that you mention it though... I can kinda see it, you have a point :D
An HE 111 mixed with a Mosquito. I've seen everything now.
@Deadly8Nightshade I'm very pleased that you enjoy my work that much :D Hope you enjoy my future work :)
I saw your stuff btw and i guess you won a follower too ^^
@ESIOTROT121 I'm loving developing the specifics of the little what-if fiction I made plane-by-plane ^_^ I hope you enjoy the planes as much as I enjoy making them :D
@Deadly8Nightshade Cheers ^_^
Good work.
