She also won the title of Most Popular Actress in Asia at the Asia Pacific Film Festival in Seoul in 1972. [citation needed]
Together with her husband, Dicky Suprapto and the music group Eka Sapta, Suzzanna released an album entitled Salah Sangka.[1]
Suzzanna's popularity was achieved from hot and mystical films, such as Bernafas dalam Lumpur (1970), Bumi Makin Panas (1973), Pulau Cinta (1978), Sundelbolong (1981), Ratu Ilmu Hitam (1981), and Malam Jumat Kliwon (1986). Some of them made her an FFI nominee for Best Female Lead.

Family

Despite living together for more than twenty years with Clift, there was almost no news or gossip. Until finally at the end of 2003, Kiki Maria, Suzzanna's daughter reported Clift Sangra who shot her husband, FX Abriyarso Prihanto Boyho.[2] The shooting case itself was reportedly triggered by news from Suzzanna's three household assistants that Clift told them to kill Suzzanna for the inheritance. To smooth the plan to take Suzzanna's life, Clift reportedly hired a hitman, who was hired for a reward of Rp50 million.[3] In addition to Clift who was charged with assault, Abriyarso was also charged with the same offense for assaulting Clift. Finally, the Panel of Judges at the Magelang City District Court sentenced action actor Clift Andre Natalia or Clift Sangra to four months in prison because he was proven to have abused his step-son-in-law, Abriyarso Priharto Boyoh, on November 14, 2005 by shooting Abriyarso using a rubber bullet pistol that hit him in the stomach.[4] Meanwhile, Abriyarso Priharto Boyoh was acquitted because he was not proven to have abused actor Clift Sangra.[5]
Suzzanna died on Wednesday, October 15, 2008, due to diabetes. The cause of her death was debated, because Clift Sangra buried her body secretly with religious leaders and the local RT head, and Suzzanna's family only found out about her death through information from the media and neighbors. However, according to Bambang Tjatur Iswanto, Suzzanna's family's legal advisor, Suzzanna had indeed made a will, that if she died she did not want it to be shown off and held in a large ceremony.[6]
Suzzanna was buried at Giriloyo TPU, Magelang. She was buried in the same grave as her son, Ari Adrianus, and her sister, Irene Beatrix van Osch.[7]
