1975 Cadillac Fleetwood

28.0k FasterThanLight  7.8 years ago

This landship is a 1975 Cadillac Fleetwood. It is powered by a massive 8.2 Litre 500 Cubic-Inch Eldorado V8 producing a whopping 200 horsepower! Its state-of-the-art leaf spring suspension ensures that this vehicle has rediculous body-roll around the corners while its front disk and rear drum brakes ensure it takes no less than ten miles to stop. The large trunk is useful for storing up to fifteen corpses. Clearly this vehicle was built with nothing but luxury in mind. The only place this boat belongs is a long, well-paved American Highway.

IMPORTANT: It seems that I forgot to program one of the front wheels to turn. I would suggest reprograming it or to download this version here: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/anwC16/1975-Cadillac-Fleetwood-Fixed

    Great build! This car was briefly featured in my most favorite movie of all time, "Pink Floyd: The Wall."

    @dootdootbananabus 'Twas sarcasm.
    I was making a joke about how such a large engine makes so little power.

    @FasterThanLight whopping 200 horsepower when the blade 1000 can produce 250 horsepower at minimum power...

    @DisasterDude It's intentional. I wanted to poke fun at the excessive body roll of older cars with soft suspension.

    @FasterThanLight I refer to the old caddys not as boats but Land Yachts

    42.3 feet is no where near long enough for a 1975 Caddy

    @CWhat016 Many refer to large domestic cars from the 70s as boats as they were large in size and the suspension was so soft it felt like you were driving a boat on open water.

    @CWhat016 I would like to make a mad max inspired post apocalyptic version of this caddy. There are many places to mount weapons and stuff on this boat!

    I think my 4.7 V8 SUV probably has more than that XD @FasterThanLight

    @CWhat016 Exacty! I thought that an 8.2 Litre would make more! GM should have stuck an LS in it and be done.

    A whopping 200hp XD That may be decent for the game but for that engine its super weak in real life
