Blurry Eyes (update)

30.4k Hyattorama  6.0 years ago

Blurry eyes is my highest rated plane, and I’m pretty proud of it. But it had three big problems:

  1. It had no wing-warping.

  2. The scale was way off.

  3. I didn’t like the handling.

I’ve addressed all three problems in this update. I’ve also changed a few small details.

Credit to Cedy117 for the radial engine.

Hope you guys like it! :)

If I could spotlight this I would but I can’t so if anyone with more points than the creator sees this, please spotlight it for me 👌🏼

Yeah, I certainly think so. Though I often have trouble with part count management so idk. @Kungfuevan

:( I’m sorry. Try again? I mean, they are just made out of fuselage parts... I’m sorry I don’t understand what you’re asking ... haha :( @tsampoy

Yes! Thank you! I’m glad someone appreciates that about this build! I mean, it’s still faster than the real thing, but at least it gives the right feel. The original bleriot XI had a top speed of 47mph. Which would have made this thing kind of a bummer to fly I think... so I made it a bit faster, but not too much. Anyway, thank you! And that’s awesome about the wright flyer simulator! @ChiChiWerx

Makes sense, it’s a hard plane to make without having a high(ish) part count@Hyattorama

So this is good... It’s underpowered, barely climbs, flies slow...accurate. I was at the Udar Hazy Annex of the Smithsonian, where they have a Wright Flyer simulator. That plane will climb, fly level or turn...but not all at the same time! Plus, it’s constantly on the edge of the stall, like this build. 👍

Thank you! Yeah... I’m sorry the part count is so high :(. There’s just so many parts in the wings... and the fuselage... and the engine hahaha. @Kungfuevan

Oh ok. Well you need a mod called Colour Editor. With that you can edit the colors to get a mirror finish in any color, and with white it looks like chrome. @tsampoy

Yessir! Well... it’s based on the bleriot but it’s not terribly accurate, so I called it something else. @WarHawk95

@Hyattorama Oh, what I mean is that how do you make those shiny little things in the wooden frames in the plane?

I can only use it if I have everything at low but I love the wing warping@Hyattorama
