FA-10E Smoke Stream
Author's note: This is my most complicated aircraft so far. It has a custom airbrake (only cosmetic, there is an actual airbrake hidden inside the plane that actually slows it down, while not showing up on the fuselage), retracting wings for hangar storage on aircraft carriers, lights, rotating elevators (like in the F15E) and cockpit lights, alongside a fake HUD system.
The FA-10E "Smoke Stream" is a major replacement for all US Navy aircraft, including the FA17X Fandance, the F30A Desert Strider, FA18E Super Hornet, etc. It is fast, has great manouverability and payload options if needed to change. Always fixed on the aircraft is dual 20mm cannons on the aircraft's nose.
Development: In 2015, the US Navy requested a new aircraft as a major replacement for aging aircraft. The project was comlleted in 2021 and the result was the FA-10E.
Controls: Standard plane controls. AG1 for hook.
AG2 + VTOL up for wing retraction.
AG3 for cockpit lights.
AG4 for aircfaft lights.
