The fourth in line for the TS-14 series. This is Hermes with links as the God of Roadways and Travelers, this is aptly the Armoured Vehicle Launched Bridge (AVLB) variant of the TS-14 Series of the Squirrel Industries MCV (Master Class Vehicle) project; where specialist vehicles are made from a common platform, in this case, known as the TS-14 platform.
Ares has a top speed of 66 MPH and 2 modes of travel:
- Quick Conventional Travel (QCT)
- Stealth Mode
With the two modes combining to give optimal performance at the cost of extra fuel.
QCT Mode revs the engine up close to max RPM and allows for operation of the headlights and taillights, while Stealth Mode reduces RPM/Horsepower, with the advantage of much quieter (albeit slower) performance with headlights/taillights turned off.
Hermes is unique and looks drastically different to the other T-14 MCVs due to it housing a bridge mounted on top of the hull, which when deployed can bridge a gap up to around 3 times the vehicle’s original length. The MCV also has 2 Ground to Air Launchers installed, which utilise custom Squirrel Industries missiles to lock on and dispose of enemy threats.
Controls:
- Activator 1 – QCT Mode
- Activator 2 – Stealth Mode
- Activator 3 – Bridge Deployment
- Activator 4 – Bridge Detachment
- Activator 5 – Nothing
- Activator 6 – Ground to Air Missiles
