AMC is offering modification packages of Ll-501 extra-terrestrial truck models. The package will provide a covered rear section, protected against general, biological, chemical and radioactive weaponry, as well as increasing the amount of armor on the body.
The space in the back is empty by default, allowing owners to furnish to usage. If required, one can opt for an APV interior, which includes seats for eight people and weapon racks.
It is important to note that, due to the small size of the truck, full airlocks cannot be implemented. Instead, the entire room can be pressurized; the room's air pressure must be adjusted to that of the surroundings when the door or roof hatch is open, much like the driver's cabin.
The rear section also comes with:
- a rear grab bar
- a rear door
- a roof access hatch
Price for modification of *new* units starts at $100,000 each.
