F-100F Super Sabre

History

The F-100F Super Sabre is the dual seat version of the well-known North American F-100 Super Sabre in which it served as the pioneer of SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses) in the form of Wild Weasel I.
Combat missions in Vietnam began in 1965 ending in the summer of 1966 to be replaced by the more capable Republic F-105F Thunderchief.

Features

In the game I did try to manage to make it more user friendly in terms of controls and it being the first ever aircraft I have ever made with camouflage, it was definitely a challenge to say the least.
I did plan on having a cockpit but part constraints kept me at bay.
It may not handle like the actual plane but as long as it can fly and land, I am not too worried.

Handles as follows

AG.1 For opening the canopy.
AG.2 For engaging the airbrake.
AG.4 For drop tanks.
AG.6 For jettisoning the rockets.

Weapons

Carries rockets and the AGM-45 Shrike that for whatever reason works barely half the time I operate it. Does have a proximity fuse though.

Conclusion

This build is by no means finished or perfect, but this is as far as I can push with what I have with me. It was a build that I enjoyed making for most of February and into March. There wasn't a proper blueprint to follow nor was there the convenience of time but whenever I did get to it, I gave it my all.

Surely, I'd build this better in the coming future but as of now, I'm satisfied.

@ReturnOfJeffChandler I actually founf out that the issues of your missile is that the your custom AGM-45 fuselage have drag and weight on it. I manage to fix the problem by putting dragscale=0 and massscale=0 pn every part of missile except the missile itself.

This is a really great build. I mean, humility is a great quality to have but not its necessary here. And yeah, I've never built anything that was perfect.

If the Shrike only works half the time then just chalk it up to unintended realism ;)
