Shortstop

Miss half the runway, and can't stop in time? Never again with Shortstop! This WWII-style prop fighter features a backup thrust vectoring jet engine to aid in takeoffs and landings. AG1 engages the VTOL engine, and AG8 deactivates the propeller. Facing back, the nozzles help you take off short, and can give you speed boosts in the air. Facing down, the nozzles can lift your nose, and greatly sharpen your combat turns. Facing forward, the nozzles provide midair deceleration, and stop your roll very short after landing. Be warned, excessive use of the backup engine uses fuel quickly. Prolong the life of the plane by using it sparingly. Comes armed with 4 machineguns, 2 interceptors, and 2 guardians.

@Noahproblem Oh yeah. Definitely had some troubles during flight testing. But once you have a good idea of the stalling speeds, a general feel for the nose-heaviness, and develop a proper throttle and vector technique, it's actually quite effective.
Sketchy... but the fun kind of sketchy. :)
