FuG 350 Naxos System Simplified
Since I'm working on updating my MF 220 Drachen with the latest 1945 technology, I decided to implement the FuG 350 Naxos.
what's this? a passive homing device that will home into enemy radars.
how to use:
Grab the parts by their base (NOT THE RED BARS)
The Screen: a CRT screen with a green circle, caused by the signal from the rotating device, with two separate signals in the exterior of the circle, the dot will represent your position, it does not move (irl it did, but according to your ground command orders and other complicated stuff), the slim bar will be the enemy position respective to your position, for this I used a simple FT: TargetHeading / 180, it will also only activate when there's a target selected.
Power supply: a dummy power supply in scale to what was used irl, place it somewhat near the rotator assembly
Rotator Assembly: A spinning device with(I assume, CRT tubes?) that will provide a signal and home into the enemy radar (in SP, it's a dummy unit, but a must for the system to be realistic) irl, the refresh rate is 3.2Ghz, in SP, I set it to 5x speed for sanity's sake.
Hope you enjoy this marvelous system provided by Marcox FlugzeugFabrik.
Note: sorry for the bad image quality, my GPU died a few days ago T-T.

Well i'm improving my Mi-To Gigantic aircraft , basically a O-i heavy tank with wings that can be folded a double contra rotating turbo prop engine with bomb sights , Gunsights (Japan) and Mr/Mrs V's device currently adding a radio compass and GPS
@Vladimir1944 note, The naxos radar only displays cardinal coordinates, it doesn't calculate distance, nor height.
@Vladimir1944 oh, that... Maybe I could implement it in a future version. The Naxos has a detection range of 50km, so it wil detect stuff beyond visual range. I just need the FT for it...
As for the other radar on my Drachen, the 240 Berlin. Someone already made a working display for it, although I'm not sure how accurate it may be, since there's next to none images of the CRT display itself, let alone a video of one working...
@marcox43 basically v already said it , you can add FT on it with a proximity detection range and will indicate any hostile on its proximity area , FT about it exist but i do not know what codes to put on this device to actually be a compas like tracking device
@Vladimir1944 mind explaining?
You can add FT in it to home in enemy aircraft's/Ground targets making it a Advance tracking radar
@MRpingouin np! n.n
@marcox43 yeah that what i meaned thank you for the informtions and im sory if i wasted your time by my questions.
@MRpingouin nah, not really, the real working thing is the screen. The rest is dummy equipment, if that's what you mean. But for a realistic setup at least thr rotative radar and the CRT display should be mounted
@marcox43 i didn t mean in real life i mean in sp do i need to put them all to mack it work???
@MRpingouin it's explained above, the screen is your radar display, 2nd is the power supply and 3rd is the radar itself. you can see it working in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CX4LladtVLI&t=22s
@marcox43 but why ther is 3 things in there.
@marcox43 nice.
@MRpingouin yep
Is this is your radar ???
No problems!
