Use by the Luftwaffe until the end of WW2, the BF-85 was built in 1940 for the war, the Aircraft got into many dogfights most were victories for the BF-85, but, during the german invsaion of the USSR, the aircraft had a little less successes then on the western side of Europe, the aircraft was put down from big dogfights or intersepting missions and was put on acouting duties more and more, with the loss of germany in 1945, the BF-85s were put in museums or scapped, they were also put to work by some countries after WW2
