The Ultimate CAS Aircraft

19.3k QuitePossiblyMangled  4.0 years ago

Based off of Jundroo's Bush Plane, but auto credit is having a stroke

Intro:
2021, war has broken out as the superpowers of the world take up arms against each other. The Russians have successfully taken Cuba and now threaten to invade the south. Unwilling to give up their freedom, the rednecks of America refuse to allow their invaders gain a single inch.

Using the power of redneck engineering, a few six packs, nascar, and 'Merica, they modified a nearby bush plane into a communist killing machine. Armed with beer can missiles, grenades, machine guns, and a recoilless rifle nicknamed 'Merica, the Commie Slayer 3000 will support fellow rednecks as they push back against the invading Russians.

Features:
-Powerful engine
-Custom weapons
-Redneck Engineering
-Rear turret for defense

Weapons:
-6 pack of Guided Budweiser Missiles
-8x Grenades
-2x Front facing machine guns
-1x 'Merica recoilless rifle
-1x Backward facing machine gun

Acts:
Act 1: Drop Grenades

Photos:

Showing off countermeasures

Attacking targets

Ready for take off

Final Notes:
To use the grenades, you can either release them all at once (for carpet bombing) or one at a time. However, the grenades can sometimes get caught in their little bays, just shake the aircraft a bit to get them loose.

Takeoff is weird as the aircraft likes to violently veer to the left after reaching 100 mph. I believe it's due to the engine as my COM is aligned correctly. To fix this, use yaw to keep the aircraft straight. You can also start in the air as well.

While this may be one of my dumber projects, it's honestly one of my favorites due to the little story behind it. I hoped you enjoyed the Ultimate CAS Aircraft as much as I did making it. And as always, have a great day or night, the choice is yours.

@QuitePossiblyMangled I have an slightly diffrent list of that. A Holy Bible (preferably King James Version) some ductape, WD-40 and shotgun can fix most everything.

@QuitePossiblyMangled Great airplane though. We have many airforce bases across the south so we won’t have trouble finding air support in a time of war lol.

@QuitePossiblyMangled Okay. Well than you haven’t lived around where I am because that ain’t the steroype around here. Like I said, I like the jokes. I laugh at em myself And i wasnt trying to be rude or anything. Just trying to correct the sterotype.

@TrojanAircraftSystems I have lived across the south, and this is all really just playing on the stereotyping I have seen in my time living there

@QuitePossiblyMangled I appreciate the jokes about rednecks (heck Im one myself and I laugh at it) but what I don’t appreciate it the sterotype of the southern redneck. 90% of us don’t drink at all, most of us dont really like nascar, and we ain’t as dumb as you think. But we would sure as anything push those ruskies back straight back to Cuba. Then we activate the Cajun Navy and go to take Moscow lol.

@Greggory005 I covered this in the final notes of my description. I believe it's due to the engine. You will need to use yaw to control it during takeoff

Is it just me or does the plane keep crashing during takeoff?@QuitePossiblyMangled
What physics are you one? It goes to the side(left to be specific) and then crashes ..only during takeoff ,other than that its a-ok
