Thunderhead (Challenge Edition)
My entry to the challenge is Thunderhead.
This ground-attack jet is designed to be as user-friendly as possible. The 4-point landing gear with extra-loose suspension make it very forgiving to land vertically. The well-balanced design makes hover control very easy, and the twin engines provide enough power to make the transition into level flight faster.
It boasts an armament of 4 miniguns, 4 rocket pods, and 8 Inferno missiles. More than enough fire power to eliminate any forces on the ground.
Take off/hover throttle is 54% when fully loaded.
Maximum speed in level flight is around 600 mph. Use AG8 to shut off the RCNs to save fuel during level flight.
Care must be taken operating the aircraft after unloading missiles, losing fuel, or taking damage, as the center of mass and gross weight may have shifted.

@SHCow Just rip off ALL the cockpits. Then you can drag the rest as one piece.
@TheNightmare Thanks! The key is nozzle and RCN placement.
This is probably one of the best hovering vehicles I have seen! @Sunnyskies
@SHCow It takes a steady hand, and a good spacial awareness of motion. But most of all, it takes practice.
@TheNightmare @SHCow Thanks!
So cool!
@IndianaBones Thanks
