Final stage preparations begun!
All group stage advancers can now modify their planes:
1) No more engine type limitations, only limit is maxspeed - 1400 mph on 10000 ft in horizontal flight.
2) And you cant change scale of missiles and use unlimited fuel.
3) Yes now you can build 1:1 replicas of your fighters. But remember - it must be same model you used in group stage.
4) Weapons limitations are same to group stage.
5) New version must be successor to challenge, not to your previous plane, so I can't loose it. Please keep that in mind.

You can rebuild or modify your entry till August 26 2016. Final stage can be started earlier if all advancers upload their planes before deadline.

Ok, I finally back.
Recently we finished our early jets tournament and now it is time to new stage of VK Community Open Fighters Championship.
Your task is to build jet fighter armed with 4 wing guns or one autocannon. As missile armament you can equip up to 4 Guardians! For propulsion you can use 1-2 Blasto J50-s with x2 power multiplier (feel free to take them from challenge file). Your plane must be an replica of real 1955-1975 fighter or at least look like it was builded in that particular time period. XML is allowed in any way exept reducing scales for engines and any scale changes for missiles, tweaking guns power, tuning engine over x2 and any fuel and weight manipulations. Every entry must be successor and will be aprooved with upvote. Deadline is August 7 2016. Now more particular about rules:

Allowed:
- 1 or 2 Blasto J50 engines with x2 power. You can find them in challenge file.
- 4 wing guns or 1 minigun.
- Up to 4 Guardian missiles.
- 1955-1975 years planes replicas.
- XML modifications:
- fuselage modifications
- traces colors
- engine exhaust colors
- scale increase for engines
- scale modifications for any part exept forbidden ones
- every xml modification that not forbidden below

Forbidden:

- Using Interceptor missiles
- Using vectoring thrust if it wasn't used on real life model.
- Every scale modification to missiles.
- Fuel and weight cheating (endless fuel and negative weights for exemple)
- Tweaking bulletWeightKg, buletCaliber, shotsPerSecond, BurstCount and timeBetweenBursts, muzzleVelocity options.

To participate your plane MUST be a successor, replica or looks like plane from 1955-1975. It can be your old build reworked to fit challange rules, if you have problems with making it successor - ask for help in comments.

Deadline is August 11 2016.

Prizes: 10 upvotes for 1st place, 5 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd. Additional 5 upvotes for best looking replicas. And every aprooved plane will be upvoted.

Reglament: 1st half - rounds robin, 2nd half single elemination with 1st round qualifiers. Also qualifiers will have some time to make improvements to their plains after 1st half.

Plane inside is just for training and practice, have fun with L-39 Albatross.
