To fly seventy minutes, the maximum time it can stay aloft without refueling, a MiG-25 needs fourteen tons of jet fuel and one-half ton of alcohol for braking and electronic systems. So wherever MiG-25s were based, huge quantities of alcohol were stored, and in the Soviet Air Force the plane was popularly known as the Flying Restaurant. And officers from surrounding bases — Air Force, Army, political officers — seized on any pretext to visit Chuguyevka and fill their bottles.

@SledDriver Very well. I know you don't make exact replicas. I just couldn't help but notice the addition of AGMs which are for that type, and I simply cited being interested in that particular Foxbat variant.
@Morel234 I think I based it off the MiG-25PD. The missiles are more because for testing I pretty much blow up the ships and that's it, so I used air-to-ground missiles. I don't make exact replicas, anyway.
I believe the missiles make this the MiG-25BM SEAD platform
Thanks, @WalrusAircraft
Yeah! loving the lines!
Lmao why did this appear in my jet stream, you made this four months ago...
@ViciousTNT Yeah, and the SR-71 didn't even have to try. It was in another class altogether. Over Mach 2.8, the Foxbat's engines would disintegrate in a matter of minutes, while the SR-71's J-58s could keep it up for hours and hours. In the words of the most famous MiG-25 pilot of all time:
The pilot was Viktor Belenko, who defected to the US (via Japan) in a MiG-25. The SR-71 was part of the reason for his defection, because he began to question how, if the Americans were as decadent and stupid as the Soviet government would have him believe, they could produce technology so much better than the Soviets. That's the Blackbird for you: destroying Communism from within, simply by existing. One hell of a plane, and it has never been equaled.
The only thing that could beat this beauty was the SR-71...
This is true @SledDriver
@CenturiVonKikie Every upvote I have? Right now that's over 8,800 upvotes... that much chocolate isn't good for you.
@bang091 thanks, but I think you know it's good when you see it, regardless of how many upvotes it gets.
When it gets upvotes by a moderator you know its good
Cool back story.
The day you make some sort of swing wing fighter or bomber is the day I'll take shots (of chocolate) for every upvote you have.
This is one of the most replica-ish models you've made yet. Keep it up.
@SledDriver Meow!
@ThomasRoderick Bless you
@SledDriver Achoo!
@Johawks1976 OK, I'll put them on my list.
Or an A-5 vigilante
It would be nice to see a sled B-1B
@SledDriver oh, sorry, my bad.
@SledDriver true, true. I will definitelt download ot when i can.
As of now, no. School is hectic and I’m going to start being more independent and think about what needs to be done before I do it @SledDriver
Thanks, @Trijets. But if you don't download it, you'll miss out on the cool stuff like the nozzle feathers and the subtle bevels on the wing pylons.
Thanks, @CRJ900Pilot. You ever get around to doing that Steam thing?
