The Lapphund is a light tank used by the Royal Army. It was used for reconnaissance, scouting, and fire support.

INSTRUCTIONS
Ag.2= Arms main gun, opens gunsight.
Ag.3= Locks Turret
Ag.7= Opens Lights

Pitch+Roll= Movement
Yaw= Turret Traverse
TRIM= Gun elevation

NOTE:
The driver's camera rotates opposite to the turret itself. This is to ensure the camera always points to the front of the hull, however sometimes it gets offset, and thus needing the turret to be locked and having to use YAW in order to point the camera back. The tank will move when doing so but I don't think its too major.

The Lapphund has an unorthodox design for a light tank. It was only crewed by two people, the commander/gunner, and the driver. Both were seated in the turret on both sides of the gun. The driver has a rotating camera up top, just behind his hatch. He could rotate this manually.

The main gun is the GR.127/30 Gun Launcher, which was specifically designed for the Lapphund. It was fed by an autoloader and had a rate of fire of 12 rounds per minute. It carried no secondary armament. It was designed to fire the LM-127(LM stood for Lapphund Missile). This however proved to be an innefective design. Though it had good anti-tank performance when it worked, the missile was highly sensitive, often exploding prematurely and in some cases, exploding after leaving the barrel. They also had low velocities, making them easy to spot by the enemy and thus giving them time to evade. With the development of the M127A5 HEAT round, which was a tandem shaped warhead, the LM-127 was phased out.

The Lapphunds were used extensively during the Northern Border Conflicts, in which their low profiles were used greatly in the hills and forests, often acting as scouts and ambush vehicles. They found success in these roles, however some techical problems plagued the Lapphunds, and only 230 were produced. All served the Northern Border Conflicts and being transferred to Reserves afterwards.
