Over the years, I've seen many great smoke pods on this website, but they all have two things in common: If you handle them too roughly, they have a chance of exploding. And even if it doesn't explode, what if you want to land? There's no way to turn them off, and the only "efficient" way of turning them off is detaching them, and once you do that, you can't even use it anymore. So I thought to myself, what can I do to make the best smoke pod in SimplePlanes? And I came up with this. Introducing, one of the best smoke pods in SimplePlanes.

Now you may be wondering, "what's so different about this one?" Well, I'm glad you asked. Instead of using explosive rockets, or missiles as the source of the smoke trail, it uses flares. There are multiple advantages to this, such as being able to turn them off. The flares disintegrate after a few seconds, so therefore, they won't still be smoking when you've landed. They also don't explode, which is very reassuring to any pilot. Plus, they're easy to use too! All you need to do is hold down on the flare button, and you have a nice looking smoke trail in seconds. If you want to turn it off, just let go of the button! Tips: I advise that when you attach one of these to your plane, make sure that there aren't any parts of the plane clipping through it, otherwise it won't work. If you want to use one of these, the grabbing point is highlighted in red. Also, please don't use these like countermeasures, it'll only make it easier for missiles to hit you XD.
