Dubbed the "Sister ship" of the A-24 Razorback, the Close Air Attacker or CAA-15 Firerod is a heavily armored close air support aircraft developed in joint of Iosia and Nordenvok. The Firerod was initially conceived to improve on and eventually replace the aging fleet of CAA-3 Javelina Attack aircraft. The aircraft was designed around the GAU-8 Avenger Autocannon, something which the Razorback followed in suite. The Firerod's short takeoff and landing capability permits operation from airstrips close to the front lines, and its simple design enables maintenance with minimal facilities.

The CAA-15 Firerod has served in every conflict that Iosia and Nordenvok have been in since its introduction in 1975, with a current recorded total of 8,950 Tanks destroyed, 10,000+ light armor vehicles, Two Aircraft kills and Thirty-Four Naval kills. The aircraft was initially planed to be retired in 2019 along with the A-24 by the F/A-33 Peregrine however, due to cheap flyaway costs, low maintenance fees, armor advancements, and political favoritism, the Firerod is planned to remain in service until late 2050.

@hellgaming essentially yes, but the engines are slightly larger, angled, the wings are shaped differently, pylons are placed in different areas, and the tailpanes are larger. Also, the Canopy is less bubbled.

It should be considered an A-10, however given the differences I was not happy with letting it slide as an A-10 as I failed to do the Hog its due justice, so we have the Firerod :)
