History

European Aviation Air Charter was Unique for What it was, a Small Private Charter Company based at Bournemouth Airport Yet growing into a Successful Airline Buying 737-200s and A300s from Companies Like Sabena or British Airways But the Main stay of EAC’s Aircraft Fleet was the BAC 1-11, Mostly made up of Former Dan-Air and BA aircraft, this single aircraft operated most of EAC’s routes until their Long Haul Era in 2002 which then it was sold to a Variety of Airlines.

Long Haul Era 2001-2008

In the Final Years of EAC’s Life in which it was sold to Palmair, Another Popular British Airline at the time. Soon After the Deal was Signed Palmair Handled EAC Operations until 2004 where Founder Paul Stoddart Bought it back, EAC Was Suffering Losing up to 60£ Million and cutting down Aircraft Usage and Laying off 560 of it’s 600 Employees, The Final Nail in the coffin was in Late 2008 Where the Airline Ceased Operations.

Resurgence 2020-Current

So cool, I have see one of these in Person and They are Gigantic One of my favourite Quadjets of all time…
Though EAC Remains a Defunct Company a Subsidiary still Exists, European Cargo a Freighter Airline Based at Bournemouth Airport Using Airbus A340-600s Formerly Virgin Atlantic Iberia and Etihad airplanes.
