Cetus 1, named after a sea monster in Greek Mythology, is a large trans-Atlantic seaplane built for propaganda by the Soviet Union in the closing days of WW2. It was powered by 12 engines in total - which were
- 8 x Shvetsov ASh-73TK 18-cyl. air-cool radial engines and
- 4x Klimov RD-10 turbojet, 8.8 kN (2,000 lbf) thrust each.
It can only take off and land in water, so find your setting for water take-off.
How to take off:
It is a huge plane, so slowly raise the throttle 50%
and let it gain speed, then, slowly increase the throttle to 100%, and move the VTOL lever to halfway up. (VTOL will control the nose ups and down)
