Vought F8 Crusader (Mobile friendly challenge)
This is a replica of the Vought F-8 crusader, A carrier based Fighter, used from 1957-1976, which I have made as my submission for the 50 part Mobile friendly challenge.
This was My first ever replica, as I have only made my own designs inspired by other aircraft before, I really enjoyed making it, and the front area took quite a lot of time to get looking right.
The F8 was the Last American fighter to use guns as it primary weapon, earning it the name 'The last gunfighter'.
It also featured an innovative 'variable incidence wing', which increased lift on landing/take-off, and also allowed for greater visibility.
AG1 Wingtip fold
AG2 variable incidence wing toggle
AG3 Arrestor hook
AG4 Arm guns
AG5/6 Missile Arm.

Note
I loved this aircraft, especially how there was so many activation groups and still under 50 parts. It was really cleverly crafted to have the wings fold and the after burner activate at 95%. Overall, nice build!
Remember, you can have more than 1 entry, however, there is a limit of 5 entries.
