M.W. 740 Heavy Recon
I’m going to real talk with you guys for a bit; One, I didn’t quit SP. Just took a week break from it; mainly because the ‘daily upload’ thing did not really feel nice for me. Two, i’m still a noob; don’t set high expectations for me, this plane is a clear example of mediocre performance.
Ok, now let’s get to the plane:
This is a land based air defense fighter. And a, or course, heavy reconnaissance aircraft. It is mainly used to intercept bombers; but It pretty much can’t: Dogfight, carry (over 500kg) of bombs, evade missiles, or strap rockets onto. Pay attention to that third one. I tried. I wanted to spice it up a bit and just add a ‘red tails’ color scheme because why not. This plane does OK at high altitudes. It goes quite fast at low altitudes for light ground pounding. This plane has a nice amount of fuel (2k+ gallons). Sometimes on takeoff the plane could have a mind of it’s own and drift to the right, so make sure to keep swapping the yaw direction consistently while taking off if you have bad luck. This plane is a mix between a De Havilland Mosquito and a Breda 88 (aka the most terrible of twin prop in WW2)
Features: Two low caliber guns, infinite style points ;), 500kg of bombs, OCS, a fully operational downward pointing 'spy camera' and airbrakes.
Controls: Act1: Nav Act2: both pylons, basic flight controls.
