Addison Lovett-Class Cruiser
Background
The Addison Lovett-class cruisers were six Royal Federation Navy light cruisers designed as fast land attack artillery cruisers. These vessels were built off of the same hulls as the Aubry Burns-Class of destroyers but with heavily modified superstructure. The Addison Lovett carries 5"/62 rapid fire guns mounted in three super firing sets of two-gun turrets fore and three more aft. These guns were able to provide effective support for troops at ranges up to 29.5km firing rounds off at 60 rounds a minute per gun. Lacking in effective helicopter servicing facilities and far less VLS tubes, the Addison Lovett-Class is intended to perform escorted by other destroyers.
