This is a Northrop P-61 Black Widow night fighter. It flew in 1945 to 1954. the P-61 Black Widow was the firdt U.S. aircraft designed to locate and destroy enemy aircraft at night and in bad weather, a feat made possible by the use of on-board radar. the prototype first flew in 1942. CONTROLS Control 1 is lights control 2 drops the fuel tanks control 3 is the gun turret control 4 is flaps

It looks great and the cockpit has great detail but it’s flight characteristics take all the realism out of it. It accelerates to 250mph in less than 5 seconds and is far too manoeuvrable. If these things were changed it would be almost perfect. Nonetheless, you still did a good job and it does look very good.
