A-20G Havoc/DB-7
Feel free to send feedback, it's greatly appreciated!
Proudly Presenting the A-20G Havoc for the WWII Challange. Features a multitude of updates and tweaks to the first plane. Credit to @thealban for the USAF Insignia's. Some paintwork is missing because of IOS limitations, but I'm satisfied nonetheless.
Scale: 1:1
CONTROLS:
1 - Activates rear guns
2 + VTOL - Turns rear turret left and right
3 + VTOL - Moves rear turret up and down
4 + VTOL - Moves flaps up and down
5 + VTOL - Opens bomb bay doors
6 - Releases left bomb
7 - Releases right bomb
Information:
The A-20G was part of the second series of A-20 Havoc's/DB-7's, released on February, 1943, which were light bombers/night fighters and intruders. Instead of carring a glazed nose, it was instead was replaced by a solid nose featuring guns. It was the most produced type of plane from all the series with 2850 being built. The attack bombers were called "Bostons" while the night fighters were called "Havocs".
It was used by the allies, being heavily used by the Soviets. The US used them for low level sorties in New Guinea.
