North American XB-70 Valkyrie
A rework of my orignal version..my version of the USAF's Mach 3 superbomber of the 1960s. Thanks to @PlanesOfOld for his modded wings, which solved my high speed flutter problem. This one has markings, thanks to @thealban, two bombs (instead of the instrunent package in the original prototypes), reworked forward fuselage and cockpit. INSTRUCTIONS: Activation Group 1 plus VTOL for stabilizer trim (holdover from previous version, not really required if you use default trim). Activation Group 2 plus VTOL to adjust the wings--be sure to go all the way up for takeoff, all the way down for high speed flight. If you depart controlled flight at altitude with wings down, raising wings will aid recovery. Be sure to deselect activation groups to avoid moving trim and wings at the same time! It likes about 1/4 down (nose up trim) to fly trimmed up. Make your landing approach at 250 mph. Enjoy, comment and upvote if you like it! Fly safe!

@ChiChiWerx Oh ok thanks.
@kasachstanball as long as it’s posted as a successor build (which is usually automatic), I have no problem with you using it for your build.
Hey @ChiChiwerx, am I allowed to publish a version of this plane that is based of the Mid-Air collision that this aircraft was involved in?
Okay, @ChiChiWerx. That’s a pretty accurate answer, so thanks
@LowtherInc no, doesn’t fly that well. But it was built more than 7 years ago when I didn’t really understand SP dynamics.
Excellent. But not at Mach 3.
@PlanesOfOld
@moonbat thanks!
One of my all-time favorites!
@Oxidiz3 wow, you picked an oldie to upvote. This one is certainly simple and I liked it, though building it on my old iPhone 5 was a bit of a chore. It isn’t 1:1, because I couldn’t resize the engines as there wasn’t Fine Tuner available for iOS and I wanted to keep it proportional. It also came before drag reduction, so the performance isn’t what it should be, though it is fun and simple to fly around.
Veronica, here is my XB-70 from 3 1/2 years ago. Your XB-70 is better than mine, but it could be even better. I recommend that you allow other players test your aircraft, then they can help you to correct problems. Your XB-70 rolls to the right and there are better markings to use. Also, for your next version of this airplane, it will be an “Air Force” version, not an “army” plane. If you need any help or suggestions, please let me know. Congratulations, very nice work!
WOW
@F104Deathtrap thanks!
Absolutely beautiful.
Great bio!
Hey chi chi, I just uploaded my new plane! Check out my v1!
@MechWARRIOR57 here you go: Planes of Old New Trusty Tool Box there are lots of useful parts and subassemblies in the toolbox, plus the unbreakable wings you're looking for. Download the toolbox and save the parts as subassemblies so you can use them.
ya @ChiChiWerx
@MechWARRIOR57 do you mean a post to the unbreakable wings?
can you give me a link to the wings (so i don't have to take them off)
Yeah 35s and 31s.....the 31 is a rocket @ChiChiWerx
@Cehhamilton oh, no worries, I wasn't offended by any means. Glad you like my builds. I have been working on this off and on for about 6 months, so it's taken me awhile to get where I am. Which Lear, 35?
@ChiChiWerx just read your bio and I feel dumb....I'm impressed with your aircraft. I'm on IOS so no where near your level at the builds.
@ChiChiWerx I wasn't saying you weren't! In fact I suspected you were lol I fly Lears air ambulance.
