Vectored Thrust Racer with AI(PID) Assist
Created for a "Future Car Challenge" this concept car represents the future of adrenaline fueled, life shortening, motor sports.
Its not a flying car. It's not a hovercraft. It's not even "An autonomous, point to point, on demand transportation solution" which, quite frankly, sounds no different from not remembering when or how you walked home.
Controls:
- Pitch: Forward and Back
- Roll: Left and Right
- Landing Gear: Activates the thrusters
- VTOL: Sets height 0-20m
- Trim: Can Assist in Uphill or Downhill
- Brake: Air Brakes
- Activate6: To go sideways
- Activate8: Stops Gyro and opens canopy.

Notes:
**For the Funky Trees enthusiasts, this vehicle achieves height control, propulsion and stability with just a single jet engine and rotor controlled VTOL nozzles in conjunction with and gyroscopic stability. I know it would have performed better with multiple engines, one for each direction, but I wanted to use altitude as the overall thrust output consideration. When the gimbals tilt, the engine output increases to keep the vehicle at the set height.
