La Noma - S.O.Vre Sloonie Solarae
The Sloonie Solarae was a carrier-capable, supersonic, multirole light fighter that served with the Northwest Northaster Iron Aerdrome (NNorIRA) during the earlier middle decades of the Smart Century. A cooperative project between the famed manufacturers La Noma and S.O.Vre Ltd., the Solarae combined both companies' experience and innovative thinking to bring an aircraft with two sets of horizontal stabilizers and small, ray-like wings. While not as maneuverable as the Moonbreaker, it was arguably a better overall airplane.
The sample here is dressed in Macadarlian Comet Orange (white with orange and metallic accents, basically).
Note: Please be careful shooting the gun while pitching down, especially if you're using keyboard controls. The gun has a tendency to shoot down planes---not necessarily enemy planes.
1 - brake parachute
2 - arresting hook
4 - spotlights
5 - anti-collision lights
6 - landing and taxi lights
7 - navigation lights
The Solarae is a improvement upon the Sloonie Moonbreaker V (a plane I will upload at a later time), which itself is an improvement upon earlier jet Sloonies. The X-foil horizontal stabilizers was an idea that a friend of mine said would be pretty cool, so I tried it out and liked how it turned out; the plane is very stable because of it. The triple-mounts for the missiles come straight from another fighter I'll upload at a later time, the S.O.Vre Starchild.

I love the shape of most of this plane. The tail isn’t my favourite but that’s just down to personal preference. The engine and wing shapes are great though!
This looks like it could be an awesome commercial jet if you make it bigger. Looks awesome!
