Year founded: 1939 - Year designed and built: 1944 - The MiG manufacturers were looking to build a revolutionary aircraft that would end the war in the Soviet Union's favor. Their solution was the Thunderhound. Although it did do a fantastic job, the allied forces were still too powerful and smart to beat. But this aircraft certainly looked, and performed the part. With 48 chaffs and 48 flares, this aircraft would be near to impossible to be locked on to by on-coming homing missiles. Two miniguns to attack ground targets, this jet was ideal for ground attack. However, not quite manueverable enough for most dogfighter jets. It could however uses it's 4 air-to-air misslies in-case of some close quarter situations. Overall this jet is way better (in my opinion) then the infamous F-212 Thunderclap. In both performance and looks. G=LandingGear VTOL=Flaps. I hope ya'll enjoy it!
