F-84B Thunderjet
Controls
- Normal roll, pitch, throttle, yaw
- AG1 for wingtip lights
- AG7 to open the canopy
- AG8 to turn off the engine
Features
Simple build, very low part count
(almost) True-to-life cockpit with a realistic gun sight and head motion in maneuvers, should be VR-compatible (not tested)
6 x Browning M3 machine guns, 2 x 1000 lb bombs
Realistic physics: true-to-life top speed, acceleration, climb rate and turn rate
Bombs and landing gear actually slow you down. Drop your bombs if you want to go fast!
The guns jam if you fire for too long. Keep your bursts short!
Some cool screenshots
no Twin Props were harmed while shooting this picture
attacking an enemy naval convoy
this is way more fun than playing war thunder. btw i made this because i just unlocked it in wt :)
Why did i build this plane?
Right now you can sort planes on this site into two groups.
Some of them look and function absolutely incredible BUT they often have thousands of parts and can only run on high-end PCs and phones.
The other group is planes that have zero effort put into them. Usually they look like crap (they might be made by new players, no offense), have 10000's of drag points, a stupidly powerful engine to take them to any meaningful speed, and the climb rate of a rocket because of the insane power-to-weight ratio.
So, I decided to create a series of replica planes (mostly ww2 and korean war, gunnery is cooler than yeeting missiles and hoping they hit) that fly and look like the real thing without having too much details so they can run even on a microwave.
Comment what planes you'd like me to build next.
Hope you enjoy!

Really fun to fly! Nice work! :D
Noice
@bybochka Yeah, i tried to make the handling as close to wt as possible, as that was my only source at the moment
I have a feeling of deja vu about this plane. It is controlled in exactly the same way as in war thunder
Very nice build .
