History:
The LFS-7 Salamander is an advanced armoured reconnaissance vehicle designed by SMC Ground Forces for the Saltwater Marine Corps. It features a large retractable boom housing a number of reconnaissance systems, including IR sensors and optical cameras. The Salamander has 6×6 drive and is powered by a 450 horsepower engine capable of propelling the vehicle to over 100 mph on the road, and 77 mph off-road. The engine is positioned in an armoured bulge on the left-hand side of the vehicle.
The LFS-7 is equipped with a 15mm autocannon controlled remotely from inside the cabin. This weapon can be used for self-defence and also for limited offensive operations in support of infantry. A 40mm grenade launcher is fitted to the portside of the vehicle to provide heavier firepower when required and can be used to mark enemy positions for artillery and air strikes. Both weapons are operated by the gunner, who is seated behind the driver's position.
As with most Saltwater armoured vehicles, the Salamander has a comprehensive defensive aids suite, including jammers and a flare launcher.
The crew of three consists of a driver-mech, reconnaissance specialist and a gunner who enter the vehicle through a single roof-mounted hatch. To improve survivability each crew member can carry out the other's roles to a limited degree. For example, the reconnaissance specialist can operate the 15mm autocannon from his station whilst the gunner can raise or lower the sensor array and manipulate the camera systems. Supplies are held externally in two large unarmoured compartments on either side of the LFS-7.
Crew protection is ample on the LFS-7, with 35mm armour plate on the forward side and bulletproof glass on all viewing ports. The remainder of the vehicle has sloped ceramic armour with a thickness varying between 17mm and 32mm. Grenade ammunition is stored in a blow-out compartment to dissipate any explosion or cook-off. The tyres are capable of running at up to 62mph flat and the amount of air can be regulated by the driver according to the terrain. The entire vehicle is armoured against fire up to 30mm in calibre and this can be upgraded with additional reactive armour tiles mounted on the sides of the LFS-7. The forward plating can resist strikes by light anti-tank missiles and grenades, as can critical areas across the rest of the Salamander.
The LFS-7 Salamander is available for export at a price of $800,000 per unit.

@Balatu We don't take to kindly to 'folks' like you 'round these parts
@Balatu
Mmm.
Now that's a matter of opinion.
@FranzPeterSiegfried
The SWAF is interested in foreign sixth-generation designs.
@FranzPeterSiegfried
Sixth-generation?
@Strikefighter04
Roger.
I think we are god for now, but thanks for the offer! @TheFantasticTyphoon
@HarrisCraft
Thanks!

@Strikefighter04
Thanks. Does the SimpleLandian Army want to buy any?
Sweet!
If u need a large enough of a plane I have one that may not be pretty to look at but Its low parts and large enough to carry this vehicle.
Another thing I think you could do is make a airborne version. It is very very light and can easily be strapped to the bottom of a large plane and dropped
Well it looks good. Something I struggle with doing in my creations like my MAMMOTH multi purpose armored vehicle. Though what I lack in looks I somewhat make up for in practically and that’s just as important as looks. It seems very manoverable but it’s a bit small. Small can be good but I like things that you can modify with more weapons and having extra space to do that is important. Also I think you can easily make this a great amphibious vehicle able to go in the water and make beach assaults with a low power jet engine like my mammoth will be having in its upcoming version 2.0
