The Wright Flyer (often retrospectively referred to as Flyer I or 1903 Flyer) was the first successful heavier-than-air powered aircraft. It was designed and built by the Wright brothers. They flew it four times on December 17, 1903, near Kill Devil Hills, about four miles south of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, US. Today, the airplane is exhibited in the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. Fly carefully, but godd performance at low speed

@RenatoGPN so your saying that the F-18 isn't a plane because it also uses an catapult to fly on carriers
@Star737 ok
@Bryan5 Well my comment is almost 2 years and I was just complaining a bit that the autopilot doesn't work too well for my video back 2 years ago...
@Star737 Old Plane Doesn't Have Auto-Pilot
the first plane to fly by its own means was the 14Bis, by Santos Dumont, in 1906, with catapult even cow flies 😆 but it cannot be denied that the Wright brothers and many other engineers helped in aviation
Purrfect for wright airport :)
@Star737 its old plane
It won't move.
The autopilot doesn't apply to this plane, why?
This plane is way too fast.
@ThePrototype ;-)
Same @SimonGlaser
It flies alright, right engine explodes if you throttle above 0%
I think Gustav Weißkopf's plane "Condor 21" was the first flying engine plane...
@Sharkie Richards planes were only proof of concept and were fails.
nice project but i believe the 14bis was the first plane bro
@Elicushman awesome!
I kinda liked the joke @vitopos
@Elicushman the 14 bis took off and landed by it self,and the wright flier needed help to take off so... But anyway(your right or should i say wright?! :) thanks for corecting my mistake.I just learned something new!(sorry for the dad joke)
Nope the first plane was Richard pearses a NEW ZEALAND farmer he flew on March 31st 1903 yet the wright brothers flew on December 17 1903
The 14 bis was flown in 1906, the Wright Flier was flown in 1903 @vitopos
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice plane much pretty less ugly
@haidebiany welcome
the first plane ever was actually the 14-BIS,a Brazilian airplane
Great..
