Avro Lancaster B.1

10.2k FearlessFabEngineering  7.6 years ago
Auto Credit Based on FearlessFabEngineering's A Aircraft Lancaster

Here she is: after an estimated ~90 hours of work over 2 months, my Lancaster is finally finished.

This is by far my most detailed and advanced build yet because I was able to use FineTuner and Overload : ) I spent so much time on this because it's my favourite plane of all time and I really wanted to do it justice (there's not enough good Lancasters on this site)

Controls:
Roll - Roll
Pitch - Pitch
Yaw - Yaw/wheel steering/turret rotation
Throttle - Throttle
VTOL down - Open bomb bay
VTOL up - Extend flaps
Trim - Guns up/down (mid-upper turret doesn't go down so there's no risk of shooting off the tail)
Gear - Retract landing gear
Ag1 - Nav lights/rear turret lights
Ag2 - Landing lights

Features:
-Built in 1:1 scale
-Working bomb bay with 15 bombs and lights
-Working turrets
-working flaps
-custom landing gear
-4 custom Rolls-Royce Merlin XX v12 engines
-custom control surfaces on the tail
-tons of small details
-fairly realistic flight performance

I hope you all enjoy this build, uploads should be more common from now on. I'll make a forum post with my upload schedule which you can look at if you're interested.
