Controlling the Seaplane: A Brief Guide on How to not Die Immediately
The SE-1 was the main Wright Observation Aircraft from 1917 until 1928. It is rewarding to fly, but takeoff can be difficult. In this brief guide, I will explain how to avoid slamming into either the water or the side of Vigilant at high speeds.
Step 1: Activate AG4 and throttle up slightly. Otherwise the engine won't activate once you detach the aircraft.
Step 2: Turn off the engine and traverse the aircraft using VTOL to around 85~90 degrees.
Step 3: Steer the Vigilant out of the way of the seaplane and throttle up all the way. Take off Speed is about 115 mph.

History
From the time it was ordered in 1909, WSS Vigilant was the most modern ship in the Wright Navy. Inspired by the rapidly modernizing fleets of the World's superpowers, the Wright government decided they needed a fleet of dreadnoughts of their own. The result was the Vigilant class, consisting of four ships (Vigilant, Dawn, Retribution, and Ephion) On her shakedown cruise in 1912, she carried the president to Maywar on the first official state voyage, and continued her carreer into WW1 and after, serving with honor during the Stork Island Rebellion of 1919 and the Wright-Yeager war of 1924, as well as several other conflicts in her 50 year career. She would go on to serve into WW2, being decommissioned in 1962 as she became too expensive and obsolete to keep on the registry. Despite protests from the people of Wright, she was sunk off the coast to create an artificial reef in 1965 along with her sister ships Dawn and Retribution.
Refits
1911: Leaves Drydock with most of the upper superstructure incomplete.
1912 Shakedown Cruise to Maywar: Reflective white paint scheme. Keel Re-worked to fix stability issues
1917: Seaplane Launcher added, Dark Grey paint scheme, More powerful engines
1926: Torpedo Belt added to combat Yeager Submarines after the sinking of WSS Belvedere
1927: Anti Aircraft guns added after no. 3 turret is destroyed by a bomb, nearly causing the loss of the ship.
1930s: The Great Depression hits Wright hard, and measures are taken to cheapen the operational cost of the ship, including more effective Steam Turbine engines and many non-essential components are removed.

p.s
Hey all! Learned about the Scaling feature in Overload recently, and so I decided to Jump right in by building a dreadnought (technically its a super dreadnought but whatever) once again @BMilan was a massive help, as were the guys on the port SP Discord server. Hope you enjoy, the gun batteries seem to wanna act weird and I feel like everytime I fix it they break soon after in a different way :P
