Handley Page HP.52 Hampden

45.5k Sgtk  7.5 years ago

The Hampden was developed in Britain prior to the outbreak of the second WW. It served RAF bombing command as one of the workhorses of the early British bombing offensive until it was retired from service in 1942. This model here has quite a few features included with it: AG-5 to swivel the turrets, AG-6 to open the bombay. AG-1 thru AG-4 drops the 4000lb payload inside. Requires a smidge of trim for level flight, but overall she flies well. She's decorated to be a night-time raider, as several of the Hampdens were designated for. Let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement, or if you have a plane you would like to see built. Thank you for stopping by to look, and enjoy your flight!!
