KREIG F-6E Stike Renegade
(1-4)(6-7) ejects ordnance. (5) activates afterburner. The KRIEG F-6E Strike Renegade is a Paternian strike fighter, derived off the F-6B Renegade, a two-seat variant of the F-6A. The distinguishing characteristics of the Strike Renegade is the LANTRIN targeting pods and conformal fuel tanks with bomb racks, with the capacity for six bombs and 350 gallons of fuel each. In addition, the airframe was strengthened to better cope with the weight. Despite these modifications, the F-6E retains excellent air-air combat capability characteristic of the Renegade series. While the Renegade was developed "without a pound for air to ground", the type proved versatile enough to be the basis of a strike fighter. While not possessing the raw weapon load of the F-111 Aardvark it replaces, it is far more capable of defending itself against fighters, and has significant parts commonality with the F-6 series.
