The Experimental Assault Fighter: XAF-33
Using the proven and reliable airframe of the earlier F-32 Mist, RAE has created an experimental fighter under the codename "Arrow." The heavily modified airframe now has 2D thrust vectoring engines and cranked delta wings. The vertical stabilizers are also angled. One unique characteristic of the Arrow is its unique elevon placement, which is located on the wingtips.

The Arrow's armament can be described in one word: deadly. Its main weapon, the XWS300 Railgun, fires its 30mm titanium jacketed osmium round at almost Mach 15, giving it sheer destructive power. It also has amazing accuracy, being able to hit targets a couple of miles away, given that the pilot has the skills. The XWS300's slow firerate means that it can't reliably hit aircraft, unless it's a head-on attack. That doesn't mean that the Arrow sucks at dogfighting, though. Against aircraft, it has a powerful XM1000 Minigun which fires its 37mm rounds at a solid 100 rps. It also has two underwing mounted Multiple Missile Launcher System or MMLS which contains heavily modified "Interceptor" fire-and-forget missiles.
