The C-118 was Used by many countries like Britian, the USA, and Canada, although this was used in Europe and Northern Africa sometimes by Britian, the Build James Fredrick was a German-American and designed the Aircraft as something for the US to use with fighting Japan, this Aircraft aphad many successes in the Pacific in Attaking Japanese Airfeilds and Engaging in Dogfights all over Europe over France and Italy (1944) but the Us used the Aircraft more in the pacifc war, but, during the Korean War, the Aircraft was used for attacking North korean Airbases and now got into dogfights with Yaks and even a MiG once, the aircraft was retired in 1963 after years of fighting in war,

    Other designs were a one Engine, but that always led to the aircraft stalling, so 2 engines it was, also if you look at its Predecessors it shows the past designs I tried
