SB-7 (Strato Bomber)
Edited reupload (other one has been deleted)
What happens when you cross a B-36 with a TU-95 and make it into a Squirrel Industries Stratobomber? (Aside from lots of lag)
You get this monstrosity. With a wingspan that’s an extra 100 ft larger and a length that’s over 150 ft larger than that of the B-36. This aircraft is bigger than even the AN-225.
To power the SB-7, it sports 6 counterrotating turboprop engines along with 4 Jet engines which aid takeoff and low-medium altitude flying (jets can be safely turned d off at 20,000 ft). The top speed of this aircraft at sea level is about 275 mph, while this speed increases to around 600 mph at 30,000 ft without the aid of jets. Thus, efficiency is greatly improved at 30,000 ft due to the large drag reductions.
So, what does the SB-7 bring to the table aside from taking up lots of space and being complicated to fly? Well, it brings 12 x Boom 50’s to the table. Which is enough to completely wipe out a runway, a task which most realistically built aircraft on SP cannot achieve. Because here at Squirrel Industries, we believe that a large bomb load should be complimented with a large aircraft… not a small one which needs to fly at 500 mph just to takeoff and then proceeds to have a seizure the minute you use ailerons in conjunction with elevators. No, here at Squirrel Industries, we build large planes that handle like a fine bottle of wine: Impossible to control when flying through the air and spills its contents everywhere when broken.

What would happen if someone actually crossed a B-36 with a tu-95?
@Squirrel no problem!
@BaconRoll thank you!
Ruddy heck this is cool
@Awsomur thank you, I've started using this colour scheme for my Strato Bomber series, so it's good to know people like it.
Great work @Squirrel. I love the different colors and how they're arranged.
Cool!
@jackattack4554 The B-36 is definitely my favourite bomber plane. It was plagued with problems, but considering its size and the fact it was the first intercontinental bomber, all is forgiven in my book.
I saw this plane at write paterson airforce base, i thought it was weird to have jet engines with propelers, its pretty cool looking
