Original Plane: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/a4u0M9/PF-2N-floatplane-fighter
History from the original designer:
With a lack of proper aircraft carriers, this variant of the PF.2 was equipped with pontoons in order to carry out a fighter role at sea, launching from cargo and escort ships to secure airspace and allow BP.1 flying boats to conduct anti-ship and anti-submarine missions unmolested. Limited utility and sub-par performance prevented the PF.2N from seeing significant production.
Start-up procedure:
start at 40 percent throttle and make sure to pull back on the stick until lifting off.
Landing procedure:
approach the water at a glide with an airspeed no greater than 100 mph and pulling up until reaching a complete stop.
Armaments:
2 machineguns in the wings.
Controls: figure it out, I forgot to put in again >:|
