He 111 H-22 with V1 "buzz bomb"
I know... I wasn’t supposed to release any more He 111’s. But somehow I couldn’t pass up this H-22…
A number of these planes had been converted to carry a V-1 “buzz bomb” slung under the starboard center section between the fuselage and engine, and were tasked with the precarious job of air-launching these V-1’s. Needless to say, the V-1 seriously messed with the plane’s flight characteristics; taking off in one of these was no fun at all. The whole idea was a bit strange; it was impossible to really hit a target with V-1’s from fixed launching ramps, and air-launching from a He 111 further reduced the, ehm, “precision”. With some luck, and if they managed to stay alive, the bomber crew could hope to hit England -somewhere.
And so; this build flies like a brick, and veers to the right on takeoff since both the CoM and CoL are off-centre. Once airborne, it’s quite well-behaved.
Controls;
• AG1 flaps
• AG2 Assigns the VTOL and trim sliders to control the various machine gun positions
• AG3 lights
• AG4 Assigns the trim slider to, well, the plane’s trim
• AG5 toggle tail wheel steering lock
• AG6 Release V1
• AG7 Assigns the pitch/roll/yaw controls to the V1
• AG8 Assigns the pitch/roll/yaw controls to the plane
Takeoff tips: before takeoff, hit AG4 (so you can use the trim once you’re airborne) and AG5 (unlocks the tail wheel). When taking off, give her enough up elevator from the start & use yaw to keep the plane on the runway (not necessary when taking off from the Maywar desert of course).
Using the V1: once you’re heading in the general direction of the target, trim to fly straight & level. Switch to camera 8, then hit AG8 (freezes out the plane’s controls), AG6 (drops the V1) and AG7 (starts the V1’s engine and allows you to control its flight like a normal plane).
The V1 controls are too good, actually… I had no problem in hitting targets perfectly. The “real” V1 would simply have been dropped with its nose pointed in the right direction, to dive to its target once it ran out of fuel. Impossible to hit anything in the game that way, so I turned it into a remote controlled cruise missile. Takes out the “beast” in one go.

Bro can you just create a normal military he 111 and his bombs is in inside not outside.
Thank you so much

Make a Fritz x do you amazing job with the V1 it would be cool to see a fritz x on this because it’s cool and I have not been able to find a good fritz x
@ForeverPie Thanks, I hate it.
its a horizontal droop snoot
Cool
Thank you!
@SimplyPlain Can you make a version with the turrets assigned to pitch and roll please?
@SimplyPlain it's what I do with fuel tanks so they don't weigh like 1,500,000 pounds
@JediWolf yeah, I know -but that would be cheating terribly, wouldn't it? The real H22/V1 combo was dangerous on takeoff, so... besides, the CoL offset might be more of a problem than the mass. And anyway, once you get the hang of it, takeoff is not an issue -it's just not very elegant...
FRITZ X
@SimplyPlain the issue with the CoM is easily fixed with overload mod! just set all the parts on the V-1 to 0 mass and your done! the CoL will still be messed up but it prob won't start going to the right as much

Nice Junkers Ju 87
@Shippy456 well, in this particular case, I keep re-using the same plane LOL... I only had to make the V1, and that's fairly simple.
Well simplyplain is really an quite amazing builder. Far better than me in my opinion. But we just build cause we have time and we enjoy it lol.@Shippy456
@SimplyPlain , and @Hedero , you guys are just pumping out WWII aircraft. HOW?!?!?!?
@SimplyPlain
IDK, I grabbed that number off Wikipedia
@sheepsblood does that already include the 236 Pedro's..? ;)
I love the He 11. It's shape just makes me think it could carry some serious weight in comparison to other bombers of it's time. Don't worry about another one since there already were 5,656 HE 111's built in history ;)
