Lockheed-Boeing A/FX-653
The AFX was another variable geometry proposal for the NATF (see this aircraft's predecessor for more details) to replace the carrier based role of the A-6 and the F-14. This is able to land and takeoff USS Beast, and has both air to air and air to ground weapons (total of six). The VTOL slider moves the wings. On takeoffs and landings, especially in the carrier, slide the slider half a notch from the middle, this slightly increases the lift in the wing, thereby helping getting off the ground. During flight, slide the slider all the way down, this will bring the wings in and give you a more sleek design, which makes you go really fast. NOTE: don't do high G manuevers at or above 800 mph because the wings can break! THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE.
