@communisticbanana Depends on class and era I guess: U VIIC subs were normally doing a maximum of 25kts submerged, while a modern RN Trafalgar or Astute-class sub can easily hit 50kts submerged. Depends on sub tasking too: Hunter-Killers e.g. Astute will invariably be quicker than purpose-built SSBNs or multi-role subs e.g. USN Los Angeles or Virginia-Class.

All of this information, gleaned from a single conversation in a bar which diverged onto how screwed dear Britain is if we poke the 'ol Bear too much... gulp

Wow this is awesome! For the steering problem I'd advise using gyros (if the basic max yaw strenght is not enough then xml edit it) I use them for my submarines as well

For your first submarine, this is pretty damn good! It looks amazing, functions nicely, although it would be pretty cool if it had a Submerging Function to it. I added torpedos to it, and sunk the U.S.S. Tiny! Great work!

Good and love that’s it American, I’m a American. But why would the USAF insignia be on a American naval vessel? I’m not completely sure about the correct symbol, maybe it is the right symbol, but I’m pretty sure it isn’t @MRLLVO
