From Japanese Animation "MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM MS IGLOO2".

The RTX-440 Ground Assault Type Guntank is a ground heavy assault mobile suit, and is a descendant of the RX-75-4 Guntank. The unit is featured in the CGI anime Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO 2: The Gravity Front.

Basic operation

Pitch : Run
Roll : Turn

VTOL : Arms move up and down.
Yaw : Arms turn to the side.



AG1 ON : Deploying the sub crawlers
AG2 ON : Asssault Gun Mode
AG5 ON : Cast the weapon rack off on the left
AG6 ON : Cast the weapon rack off on the right
AG7 ON : Lights

Armaments

220mm Cannon (Multirole)

Bop Gun (Multirole)

When the bop gun is selected, only the arm that is facing sideways will fire with the Yaw control.

Flamethrower (AG3 ON + FireGuns)

30mm machine gun (AG4 ON + FireGuns)

When the bop gun, 30mm machine gun, or flamethrower is active, the vertical angle can be changed by trim operation.

56-tube Rocket Launcher

The vertical angle is auto-aimed, but there seems to be an error due to the low installation position.
You can change the vertical angle with the Trim operation.

[CAUTION!!]
FuelBombs explode 7 seconds after they are dropped, and HeavyMines 15 seconds after they are dropped, so make sure you have enough distance from them.
(Occasionally both may explode due to the impact of landing.)

Each of the weapon racks next to the caterpillar will automatically detach after 3 seconds when all weapons have been used.




The Guntanks were assigned as vanguard units during Operation Odessa to penetrate enemy lines and to destroy a Dabude-class battleship that was causing severe losses to the newly reorganized 44th Independent Brigade Composite. The Guntank Crews managed to succeed in their mission, at the cost of two of the machines and their pilots.
